The Bates 5K Run/Walk is going to be on Saturday, April 10 at 8:00 am. The course begins and ends on the track at Bates and, in the middle, weaves through the streets of Murray Hill....continued...
It's a beautiful route that passes part of Spa Creek and even covers a block of West St.! It'll be a great way for the family to spend a Saturday morning while supporting the school at the same time. All proceeds from this event will go to Bates for a gym air conditioner, more bleachers and a new audio system. Registration through March 27 is only $20.00 for 18 and older, and $15.00 for 17 and younger. On March 28, the prices go up by $5.00, so register soon! Stroller riders are always free.
Don't forget about package pickup the night before the race on April 9 between 3:00 and 7:00 pm to get your race bag and number! There will be prizes for category winners!
