Annapolis Capital Punishment

Good for FOX NEWS! They took Judge Manck to task on his absurd sentence. But apparently the powers that be in Maryland still feel that the sentence was appropriate. According to the State's Attorney, Frank Wethersbee, since the man apparently only fondled his daughter (a fact that the newspapers neglected to mention earlier) he deserves a 4 month sentence with the ability to go to work.

I love how the newspapers and our judicial system are so quick to protect the victim by not publishing her father's name (I agree with the concept)--yet are seemingly indifferent when it comes to offering any REAL protection.

If Wethersbee is correct, maybe the Senators and the Delegates in Maryland ought to get off their collective butts and do something about it.

I will say it again, this scumbag molested his daughter and his nieces for MANY YEARS and he has scarred these young women FOREVER. The guy deserves a LOT more than 4 months in jail with time to go to work! The common shoplifter in Annapolis gets a tougher sentence.

Mike Miller and Mike Busch (Senate President and House Speaker for MD)--are you listening? What the hell is going on here? Mike, you have some young daughters...how do you feel about that? Maybe this nameless, faceless coward in Severna Park might be able to come hang out with you and your family for a while. Starting to squirm yet? I am!

Mr. O'Reilly--keep it up. Without pressure, nothing will ever change. It is time. Every day, we see some other child killed or molested. It has to stop!
