First Democratic Breakfast With the Candidates....brought up a crowd of over three dozen, mainly active Democrats, but folks from many wards, to hear Josh Cohen, Trudy McFall and Classie Hoyle speak. With six mayoral candidates and more aldermanic candidates sure to join the fray, it shows that local Democrats are fired up and active. This is a great way to hear candidates up close and personal, so stay tuned. The next event is Saturday, May 30.
I'll be pleased to report information from the Republican committees as I have mentioned before, but they are going to have to make some effort to keep me informed, as the Democrats are doing. I find the Republican's web-sites are in disarray and outdated when I do try to glean information.
