Oh Nine On Line for May 21... These Flyntz Failed To Strike A Fire

I attended The Republican Breakfast to listen to mayoral candidate Frank Flyntz. I even had to spend the $8! I think it is safe these flyntz did not light a fire under the group that came to listen. Besides that, after weeks and repeated attempts to get him to respond and then actually agree to attend Sip N' Blog, which would have made him the last of all nine mayoral candidates, he backed out, saying it would not be to his benefit. Every other candidate would disagree I am sure. One of the more telling incidents yesterday was when I asked him why his brochure failed to provide his treasurer's name and he matter-of-factly said, "I forgot. Next question." One of the more active party members sitting with me said how he reminded Flyntz of the need to do that months ago. See what I wrote about this candidate before at hes-in-like-flyntz .

Alone among all the mayoral candidates not currently siting on city council, Trudy McFall has maintained a consistent and visible presence at city council hearings and especially with the budget process, which of course just passed. McFall provides comments on the budget in a news release at www.trudymcfall.com
