Annapolis Capital Punishment

Sip N' Blog will return this week. We'll meet Thursday from 8-9 am at The Sly Fox Tavern on Church Circle. We appreciate the opportunity to gather at Sly Fox but will be very clear--it is not a political decision and there are no expectations or quid pro quo's. Mayoral candidate Chris Fox and his brother Andrew are kind enough to make it available to us at no charge and it is a private and central location. However, I will say here that without a doubt, Chris Fox is absolutely the most accomplished and qualified restaurant owner running for mayor and if we were electing a mayor of pubs and restaurants I would have to endorse him, but this has nothing to do with him hosting Sip N' Blog...so there....for full disclosure... however if you are downtown and are thirsty...oh never mind....If Trudy or Zina or Josh or Dave or any other candidate owned a pub, we'd go there too--if we were invited.....Some have asked if we have hosted all the candidates at Sip N' Blog and the answer is almost but not quite. We have extended invitations to all and again we have invited Alderwomen Hoyle and Finlayson. We hope they will oblige....Chris Fox held a neighborhood gathering in Eastport Sunday evening attended by a couple of dozen folks who came to meet and hear about his platform. Ward Three Aldermanic candidate Scott Bowling attended.
