Sip N' Blog returns after a summer hiatus. We will feature mayoral candidate Laurie Sears Deppa on Thursday, August 27 from 8-9, place to be determined. Join CP and the gang of ultra left-wing, liberal radical communists as we dissent, er I mean dissect, the ins and outs of our local political scene and it sure is getting interesting. We hope to have another aldermanic candidate on September 3rd and then a pre-election crystal ball-athon (mine is fuzzy) on the 10th. On the 17th we will meet for Bloody Marys and Mimosas for a post election rundown. We welcome Ward Seven candidate Jennifer Monteith on September 24th. The only aldermanic candidates remaining to be featured will be Classie Hoyle, Sheila Finlayson, Matt Silverman, Rock Toews and Jim Conley. I think we're going to need to do a double-header and maybe extend the hours a bit to accommodate everyone. We may ask the three mayoral candidates to appear as well, but will have to see how things shape up. Busy, busy, busy....See you there....
