Democratic candidate Laurie Sears Deppa will be the featured guest at our next Sip N'Blog on August 27 at 8-9 am, place to be determined. We plan to resume our regular weekly schedule throughout the campaign season. The public is welcome and reservations are not necessary. We hope to host city council candidates Jennifer Monteith, Kirby Kenny, Jim Conley, Matt Silverman and the incumbents who have not yet participated (Hoyle and Finlayson) in September and October. Please send your suggestions for featured guests to paul@foerfront.com.

Is Kirby Kenny Kenny Kirby's long lost cousin? LOL
If you were nice to the core long term democrats and did not grind an ax like an angry & disgruntled former city employee you would get broader and more in depth political news.
This is a year of change as the Moyer and Hammond Dynasties have run their course over 40 to 50 years and all that is left is an exhausted remnant.
It may be a Pierre/Cordle race as the white folks are splitting their voteand Wayne Taylor having accepted an appointment by a Republican County Executive has effectively taken himself out of contention for a Democratic Primary.
The City Manager legislation adds a nice twist to the race as two or three candidates will claim the good government mantle and split that vote.
Josh has the most government government experience and needs to step up his game if he wants to get elected. I take it if he loses he can always fall back on beiong a County Council person so he does not really have that much risk in the game - a nice position for him.
Mr Purcell: Since you have your own blog now, which you use to attack me personally, why should I allow you to comment here? Your comments are neither interesting nor insightful, and referring to me as a "an angry and disgruntled former city employee" is absurd. It does however lead me to question your abilities as an obviously angry and disgruntled former Annapolitan and now Baltimorean who cannot seem to hold a job as a n architect in the same firm for more than a year or so, but why is that anybody's business? But what gets me is how you are so concerned about buildings but never about the people who inhabit them. Such a pity.
I do not mean to transpose his name but until I can actually meet the fellow I am afraid I am just getting his name confused. It is Kenny Kirby--yes?
