Oh Nine On Line for September 4

Last night's debate...please...make them stop...I can't take it anymore....How many times can the same question be asked? I am going to have to stop publicizing these things if they keep getting worse. The highlight of the evening for me was when Sam Shropshire praised Boss Ellen O and said how well managed our city is and how it is in sound financial government. Where do I get a pair of those rose colored glasses?...Kenny Kirby was at the debate and I did want to meet him but I got caught up when it ended and he was busy speaking with others. Kenny--if you are reading this, I would like to meet you....Josh Cohen put me up to this after the debate when he pointedly asked "Are you going to mention how Kenny Kirby came and Greg Stiverson did not?" Okay. I mentioned it. Alderwoman Classie Hoyle organized the debate and her opponent, Scott Bowling was also there. All Democratic candidates for mayor were in attendance...Speaking of not publicizing any more forums, the next ones are....League of Women Voters of Anne Arundel County, September 9, 7:00 PM, Unitarian Universalist Church, 333 Du Bois Rd. and then, Thursday, September 10th, 7:00 pm, Eastport Civic Association, Eastport Elementary School--that will be most interesting....

The Chris Fox for Mayor campaign is hosting a tournament at The Golf Club At South River on Tuesday, September 29th. CP is not a fan of holding fund-raisers outside of the city, but there is no golf course in the city....of course...However, don't we Annapolitans own  a golf course in the county??? Wasn't the mayor trying to annex one? The event is at 3451 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD 21037-2707
Registration begins at 8:30 am, Shotgun start at 9:30 am. Cost: $125 per person for golf, carts, range balls before the tournament, 1 meal, soft beverages, and domestic beer. Fox For Real Change, C/O Brian Gill, 2007 Valley Rd., Annapolis, MD
