As far as I can tell, Alderman Ross Arnett is the only council member who regularly sends out details about upcoming city council meetings and how he intends to vote on them. Below is his information on The Special Meeting of the Annapolis City Council for Monday, October 26, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. The public hearing will be followed by a short legislative hearing. All Council meetings are broadcast on Comcast channel 99 and on Verizon channel 34.
NOTE-- The Mayor, Boss Ellen, in her own inimitable way, first yanked this entire meeting and it never appeared on the city's web-site. The person in charge of posting this told me it was due to "human error" but Arnett told me the mayor ordered him to remove it to keep certain legislation from being heard--part two of her failed plan to keep said legislation from being introduced last meeting. Hah. Same old same old. The only "human error" involved was when we elected Moyer--twice.
