Because of inclement weather, Mayor Joshua J. Cohen has declared that city administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, Feb. 11, and Friday, Feb. 12. Essential employees, however, must report on time.
Because of the extraordinary snow conditions, homeowners with a due date on utility bills for this week are being granted a grace period of an additional week.
Annapolis Transit: Due to road conditions, there will be no bus service Thursday, Feb. 11.
Recreation and Parks: The Truxtun Park Rec Center will be closed Thursday, Feb. 11.
For both: Service levels for Friday, Feb. 12 will be posted as soon as road conditions have been assessed.

FYI the MTA was running today. The busses could run if they would equip them with chains, then while the city fiddles while cars don't move, at least people could get around somewhat. They don't stop in CO when the powder falls, or if they do they are back up as soon as the white out conditions are clear or the avalanche is moved.
