Anne Arundel County Public Schools is sponsoring the third annual Teen Summit sponsored by the Anne Arundel County Partnership for Children, Youth and Families to be held this Saturday, May 22, at Annapolis High School. The Teen Summit, Parenting Workshops and Recreation and Resource Fair will focus on Choosing to be Drug-Free. The day's activities, which run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. will help raise awareness of the dangers of underage drinking and substance abuse, educate the community on existing resources within the County and provide a low- to no-cost, fun-filled day for students and their families! Students in grades 8-12 will earn Community Service Learning hours for attending the Teen Summit. For details of all the events and important registration information, visit www.aacounty.org/TIP. Teens who register will be eligible to win several prizes including a $250 Visa gift card.
