Ron George Campaign Updates....Thursday and Friday Evenings: Ron knocked on 80 doors. Saturday: 7 people marched with Ron in the Strawberry Festival in Cape St. Claire. Ron and volunteers door knocked on 100 doors. Sunday: Ron knocked on 57 doors and volunteers knocked on approximately another 80 additional. Ron cut the ribbon and spoke at the Captain Avery House Rain Garden in Shady Side. Monday: Ron spoke at the Genesis House Celebration. His op-ed appeared in the Capital on the 'Same old Spin" that the left puts on the negative economic climate in Maryland.......Don't forget "Foerfront on The Crush" at Crush the Winehouse, 114 West St on Monday June 28 7-9 pm to meet and listen to new candidates for public office. Be sure to arrive early toi get a seat. Admission is ten dollars and includes food and snacks! Drinks are additional.....County Executive Joanna Conti has hired another staffer! The active campaigner says she has met 325 community, business, and labor leaders one-on-one for wide-ranging conversations over breakfast, lunch, or coffee, attended over 200 community events and have made thousands of phone calls. The campaign entered a new phase yesterday when Hylton Early was hired as Field Director, expanding her full-time campaign staff to four.
