A trial date of 10/04/2010 at 08:45 am has been set in Anne Arundel District Court for Carl Snowden, an appointee of Attorney General Doug Gansler. All alleged violations for tis latest incident occurred on June 08, 3:15 am on Route 97 in Anne Arundel County:
DRIVER FAILURE TO OBEY DESIGNATED LANE DIRECTIONS
NEGLIGENT DRIVING VEHICLE IN CARELESS AND IMPRUDENT MANNER ENDANGERING PROPERTY, LIFE AND PERSON
DRIVER FAILURE TO OBEY PROPERLY PLACED TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE INSTRUCTIONS
DRIVING WHILE IMPAIRED BY ALCOHOL
Snowden is a former Annapolis alderman, mayoral candidate and civic activist. He serves at the pleasure of Gansler as the first head of the office on civil rights, although he is not a lawyer. Gansler is running unopposed for re-election.
