Former mayoral candidate and housing expert Trudy McFall writes in today's The Capital about our ongoing crisis in public housing and says that "Privately managed affordable and public housing is better than housing managed by housing authorities". This echoes many of the assertions I recently made in one of my weekly The Ninth Ward columns in The Capital where I more pointedly described public housing as a vote farm for entrenched Democratic elected officials.
