As Mayor David N. Cicilline’s administration winds down, city Finance Director Bruce T. Miller confirmed Wednesday that he is in line for a new job as finance director in Annapolis, Md. Miller, who joined the administration in 2007, says he expects to step down before the end of Cicilline’s term this year, if his appointment is confirmed by the Annapolis City Council on Monday. Paul why do you find these things out and no other journalist looks for it?
Also, how can a check be held as collatoral and never be cashed? That has to be a scam.
Providence is well known as a haven for the New England mafia.
Thanks but of course, I did not find this out--but merely found it from another journalist who did the work. I appreciate your comment but the big questions is how come when I do find things out--and report on it--and the other reporters who are getting paid to do it do not--and I am not getting paid?? That may explain a few things....but often it is simply because of Google Alerts or web searches and sometimes because readers tip me off--and I thank them..but in this case, it was no big deal.
