Maryland Suspends Delegate Tony McConkey's Real Estate License....just his latest in a string of troubles; when will voters wake up?

ACP has often written about Delegate Tony McConkey--and for good reason. The latest in a string of problems for the northern Anne Arundel Republican has resulted in a compromise deal where the state has suspended his real estate license. Somehow or another voters always seem to gravitate back to the profoundly conservative McConkey. WBAL TV news reports:

For  ACP's previous coverage of McConkey, see:

And the above is just a sampling. To see more, simply use the search bar (lower right) and type in "McConkey". Be sure to include both the large "C" and the smaller "c" or you might end up searching for something different--not entirely different, but slightly different...or maybe not.

Would Eric Grannon have stuck in there and gone for a conviction? Or is this not a criminal case at all. Whatever. Mr. McConkey suffers a scratch. Some banks missed out on foreclosures because of him, and he lined his pockets a little while helping some homeowners get screwed not as bad. Guess he should've read the bill he voted for.
