Well, the Mayor is away, the chief is on sick leave, a lawsuit is in the works...one still wonders how such an organized, er, presumably organized operation could go so dreadfully wrong as to have targeted the wrong house!!! Now that the lawyers and courts have this tangled up, it may be years before any conclusion--or settlement is reached. So, if there is a settlement--who will pay? Will it be the taxpayers who are also being asked to again give raises to the police officers? Once again, CP says it’s time to consider a new chief.
