Oh Nine On Line for October 9

In compliance with new regulations promulgated by the Federal Trade Commission and in the interest of full disclosure to readers, I hereby state for the record that I Paul Foer, did indeed receive one free cup of coffee on Thursday morning from Zu Coffee in Annapolis, MD as a token in appreciation of promoting and bringing in customers through promotion in this blog. I guess you call it a "perk"? ...Turn the page for more including a calendar of campaign events......
Chris Fox made it to my door while out campaigning and I know he wants to make sure I tell all our readers.....okay. I did it. You can go to other doors now. Thanks Chris.

Monday, October 12, 7 to 8:30 p.m.   Mayoral Candidates Forum sponsored by the Annapolis High School Parent Teacher Student Association, at the Annapolis Senior High School Auditorium, 2700 Riva Road, Annapolis.  As with the PTSA's August forum, the focus will be on how each candidate's vision for the city of Annapolis will affect the schools in the Annapolis cluster.  Please note this is sponsored by the PTSA, not Annapolis High School; the forum is part of their general meeting, which has one item of business, so will likely get under way at 7:10 p.m.  For further info, contact Annapolis High PTSA President Pam Bukowski at pkbukowski@msn.com or 410-263-8081.

Thursday, October 15, 7:30 p.m., Eastport Civic Assn's Candidates Forum, Annapolis Maritime Museum Join us October 15th  at 7:30 pm  for a special ECA meeting to meet the Mayoral Candidates and Alderman candidates for Ward 8 at the Annapolis Maritime Museum on Second Street.  Refreshments will be served.

Thursday, October 22, 7 p.m. The Annapolis Forum is proud to announce a partnership with the Ward One Residents Association to co-present an exciting event open to all in the city of Annapolis: a televised debate between the candidates for mayor in 2009-Josh Cohen, David Cordle and Rick Fox (Yeah we know it's Chris but this is how they sent it out...) at Maryland Hall. This event is being sponsored by What's Up? Annapolis magazine. Moderating the debate will be St. John's College President Christopher B. Nelson. Assisting President Nelson with the debate will be Naval Academy Political Science Professor Howard Ernst and Center for the Study of Local Issues Director Dan Nataf. This new, combined event replaces the previously announced debate that had been scheduled for Oct. 29 at City Hall. (CP NOTES...interesting--such a diverse panel--three white male academicians from large institutions, only one of which is inside the city politically. Will they really speak and act in a way as to tell us anything new and different or will it be a talking-head parade? What would one expect from this hifalutin' "lifestyle magazine pandering to the upper class-elite and those afflicted with varicose veins???)

Friday, October 23, 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. Almost 7:30 Friday Morning Democratic Breakfast.   Eastport Democratic Club, 525 State Street, Annapolis 21403 (corner of State and Chester).
