The nearby town of Chesapeake Beach, MD is looking to hire a town administrator. The small town with a budget of about $8.4 million or less than ten percent of our city's budget has about 4000 residents, also about ten percent of our population. It has some pretty solid requirements for this position including an MA in public administration or similar field, and five years of experience in public sector management. I can think of where they might find some fairly qualified applicants...who may also be looking to move on...but I doubt they have a sister cities program.
