Each month we attract more and more readers to this little place where we sit on the cutting edge of community journalism....and OUCH!...we're bleeding. We went to nearly every primary and general mayoral debate so we could keep you up to date. We take your calls and emails and we do the research to bring you the news and incisive analysis. We sponsored a mayoral debate and weekly Sip N' Blogs with candidates and activists AND IT'S ALL FREE!!!...Almost every day, somebody thanks us for what we do and while we love your thanks and pats on the back, we really need to eat and pay the mortgage too.

We have no compunction asking for your support. We all deserve to be compensated for providing value to others. PUBLIC BROADCASTING HAS their fundraisers, commercial newspapers and radio have their ads but we're just poor country bloggers trying to do the right thing and trying to serve you, so please, open your hearts and your pocket book and send in your donations to Capital Punishment.
