Annapolis Democrats will hold a rally for health care reform on Thursday, March 18, from 5 to 6 p.m. at Church Circle. We will have a permit. We believe that the time for reform is now! We plan to have a good crowd for this event. For too long the Tea Party has been up front, saying no, no, no.
Sorry but no further information available, but I will say this. Why is it that every other industrialized or developed or Western-style democracy or English-speaking country has universal health care YET WE ARE STILL ARGUING ABOUT IT HERE????? I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE ARGUMENT OVER HOW TO DO IT, BUT WHY ARE THERE STILL SOME PEOPLE WHO ARE ARGUING ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT WE SHOULD HAVE UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE???
What is wrong with us? I agree with Nick Berry--go tell the tea party folks that we as the American people deserve health care reform--and I believe that means universal health care.
