U.S. Rep. Frank Kratovil, who represents Maryland’s First Congressional District, is scheduled to speak at the Almost 7:30 A.M. Democratic Breakfast Club next Friday, June 11 at the Eastport Democratic Club , 525 State Street in Annapolis. The breakfast is open to the public; there is a $6 cover charge. Doors open at 7:30 a.m., and the program, which includes a considerable amount of Q&A, customarily begins at about 8 a.m. . Rep. Kratovil, who faces a tight re-election contest against State Senator Andy Harris and Independent Jack Wilson, is a conservative Democrat who voted against Obama's health care plan.
Kathleen Vitale is going for the House of Delegates in District 33. The term-limited County Councilwoman represents Broadneck.
