Over across the border (the County border) a PG County cop was killed by a guy in an allegedly stolen car. Tragic.
Less than a week later, the alleged is killed by strangulation in his cell in a PG County jail while in custody. There is lot's of debate on it being vigilante justice and the FBI and MSP are now investigating.
I hope that the officers we entrust to our safety--be they police or corrections officers--are above this and this accused car thief was killed by someone else. But my gut is telling me otherwise.
Got an opinion?

It is sad but I know a lot of cops who have an eye for an eye mentality when it comes to their own.
The guard wannabees probably did it. Very sad for the family of the cop and the kid who killed the cop.
Now the tragedy of the cop's death is completely overshadowed by this kid's murder. When all is said and done, who will we remember?
I hate to think it but PG prisons are pretty notorious for being like that. Didn't they have soem seriosu issues last year?
yeah the guy who was killed in prision's family will probably sue the police department/ county and win. I only hope the police officer who died, that his family in turn sues the family for wrongful death and take the proceeds.
