Pardon Me For Barging In Like That

Yet another controversy is brewing on the Eastport waterfront with a local marine business up against some local residents. The alderman is working on legislation.The harbormaster says he won't enforce the existing law until it is rewritten. A local activist is concerned. There is a recollection of a ghastly 100 foot barge that once moored near the harbor for many months. I'll bet that most Eastporters, including our alderman and resident Chris LeDoux never saw Sam Sardinia's monstrous housebarge that 20 years ago led to the existing legislation. Stay tuned.
