CP and our regular Sip N' Blog crowd was pleased to have Principal Carolyn Burton Page of Annapolis Middle School as our featured guest. Thank you Ms. Page for sharing information with us about AMS and its role in the greater community. As an AMS parent, I know of your hard work and your concern for the safety and education of our children. We know that among our school's greatest challenges is that of involving parents and you worked tirelessly to include us. We know of the challenges faced by many of the less fortunate families and children at AMS and other schools. We are aware of how social problems are dumped in to the school's laps leaving you and staff and faculty to solve them. You always followed up as promised. You returned every call and email --and that's a rarity today. Sometimes you even did so after hours and on weekends. I always joked with you that you need to take some time off and you tell me that is why there is a summer vacation, but you have always given 100 percent. Thank you for joining us last Thursday and for your dedication and service. We wish you well.
