Alderman Sam Shropshire stood before reporters and cameras today saying he was completely innocent of all charges brought against him by a midshipman for sexual assault. Okay. Read about it elsewhere. Watch it on tv. But why was mayoral consultant Don Lamb Minor watching the whole event? Did he not have other pressing matters? And why was police detective John Lee watching the event? Could it have anything to do with his role as the union shop steward for the United Food and Commercial Workers Union Local 400 who represents our police officers?
