We are pleased to have Steve Frantzich as our featured guest at Thursday's Sip N' Blog at Sly Fox Tavern from 8-9 am. Frantzich is Professor of Political Science at the U.S. Naval Academy. A graduate of Hamline University and the University of Minnesota, his 12 books and numerous articles and book chapters have focused on U.S. political institutions with particular emphasis on the impact of technology on the political process. He has served as a consultant to various congressional committees, C-SPAN, the Dirksen Center, foreign parliaments, and a number of foundations. Long an advocate of innovate teaching, he was chosen the outstanding professor at the U.S. Naval Academy and has been recognized for his creative use of computers and video by the American Political Science Association, C-SPAN, and a number of publishers. He also authored Citizen Democracy: Citizen Activists in a Cynical Age.
An active member of the Rotary Club, he directs its Books for International Goodwill program.
