The 2010 budget adopted by the City Council addressed a looming deficit and a nearly $2 million shortfall in revenues for the Transportation Department, which runs the city’s buses, by approving a series of increases in hourly, daily, and monthly parking fees in several city-owned garages. The increases would generate about $900,000 in additional revenue.......
