Ryan Bagwell, aka The Arundel Muckraker, filed suit against AA County Schools for proper access to public information about student test scores. The school system settled the case, allowing Bagwell to have the information free of charge and paid his court costs instead of charging him $500. According to Muckraker, "The internal test scores suggest a wider performance gap may exist between minority and white students than previously reported." Hmmm....
Making public agencies adhere to laws concerning records and information has motivated Muckraker since he started blogging. We The People should all take note that Muckraker does what he does as a public service--on his own time! (Sound familiar?)
