Annapolis Capital Punishment

Let it never be said that CP does not read the candidate's web-sites carefully or that Dave Cordle does not have a sense of humor. The other day I noticed that at Dave Cordle's web-site, he has a number of dates out even until next year when his wife Michele will be sign-waving. I brought this to the attention of the alderman and mayoral candidate, who replied:

"That's hilarious!  Talk about spousal support!"

A day later, the dedicated spousal sign waver wrote:

"Now that is one dedicated wife! Thanks Paul for the reprieve. Very Funny! Michele"

I had been told that the candidate's better-half has a great sense of humor, but we have never met. [actually--we did meet briefly at Octoberfest yesterday but this post originated a day or two before...and no she was not sign-waving]  Now I need to get out there and watch for that post-election sign waving, but in case they don't know, the election is November 3rd..but they can keep waving--right?...see below...:

TODAY--- Deadline to register to vote in the November 3 general election.  For more info, see Annapolis.gov or call the Board of Supervisors of Elections Office at  410-263-7929 or email elections@annapolis.gov. The Board's office will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. 

TOMORROW Tuesday, October 6, 5 to 7 p.m. "Victory '09" Annapolis Democratic Central Committee Fundraiser and Unity Rally at Loews Annapolis Hotel, 126 West St, Annapolis, with light fare and iced tea, plus a cash bar.  Admission: $30 per person, $50 per couple, payable at the door.  Come out to support your Democratic candidates and elected officials and help keep Annapolis blue in the November 3 general election.  RSVP to Nick Berry at jandnberry@msn.com or 410-263-1139.
