Annapolis Capital Punishment

Mayor-elect Josh Cohen will announce his "core administrative team" appointments Friday morning and take city council members and new administration officials on a bus tour of city facilities. I hope it's not a city bus...for a lot of reasons....but he needs to take his own tour on them...for a lot of reasons.

According to Doug Smith of the Ward One Residents Association, the following individuals expressed an interest in the District Six County Council seat:
Billy Moulden, Science teacher, current member of the Board of Appeals , recipient of several environmental awards
Mike Miller, local businessman, leader of Obama campaign in AA County
Cynthia Carter, former Annapolis Alderwoman
Chuck Farrar, owner of Bay Ridge Wine and Spirits
Bill Kuethe, State Farm Insurance Agent, and Board member of Leadership Anne Arundel
Lisa Hillman, VP and Chief Development Officer for Anne Arundel Health System

There will be a public forum on December 9, at the Annapolis Middle School, running from 7 to 9 pm. to learn the views of the candidates.The co-hosts for this forum are: South River Federation, Annapolis
Neck Peninsula Federation,  Ward One Residents Association,  and the AA Chapter of the League of Conservation Voters.
