Kilroy Was Here....and there....and there again....Check Out Some of These Lawbreakers In The News

This time,  it's not about politicians, but just your garden variety type of people who do anti-social, inconsiderate and sometimes really dumb and dangerous things. For example, the fellow who was doing "doughnuts" in the Edgewater parking lot and crashed into The Green Turtle restaurant.  Or what about the guy who robbed Starbucks' tip jar? Did you read about him--and how he was caught?

From the Police Report:

Theft - On Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at approximately 2:14 PM, officers responded to a call for a theft at the Starbuck's Café at 124 Dock Street. An employee said that a suspect had just taken cash from the cafe's tip jar and fled the cafe on foot, running toward Prince George Street. The suspect was described as a white male, clean-shaven, wearing a black jacket. Witnesses in the area of Prince George Street advised they had seen a male matching the description running and jumping fences in the area.
Earlier in the day, officers had responded to a one-vehicle accident. The driver of the vehicle was a white male who was wearing a black jacket. After the vehicle was towed, the driver told officers that he would be walking downtown to Starbucks.[no doubt to get tanked up on caffeine...]
Officers went to the Starbuck's with a photograph of the driver obtained from APD Records. The victim immediately confirmed that the subject in the photograph was the theft suspect.
APD dispatchers informed investigating officers that a resident of East Street had found a Maryland driver's license belonging to a man that had run through his yard after jumping a fence. While officers were interviewing the resident, he pointed at a man walking down the street and said, "That's him. He's right there."
John Kevin Kilroy was arrested and charged with theft under $100.00.
CP Says: Note to Mr. Kilroy--Next time you commit a crime when there is 30" of snow on the ground, don't wear a black jacket. It kind of stands out. Makes you look...uh, noticed. I'd prefer you to be wearing white and black stripes or bright orange. We can only hope you do not pass on your genetic material. Even the police report failed to mention the criminal activity you were involved in just a couple of months ago. Why are you still on the streets after assaulting a police officer?:

1st Degree Assault (Thursday, December 3, 2009, 3:15 PM) – An APD officer on routine bike patrol in the area of Larkin Street and Lafayette Avenue was nearly run down by a suspect that took off at a high rate of speed when another officer approached his vehicle. The bike patrol officer raised his hand and advised the suspect to stop. The suspect instead accelerated and continued to drive at the officer. The officer swerved his bike out of the path of the vehicle and the suspect continued up Larkin Street. He was apprehended after a short chase at the end of Cheston Avenue. John Kevin Kilroy, DOB 4/24/63 of West River, Maryland is charged with Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer.

Will a judge let him walk? What about three strikes and you're out? I think it would be nice to see "Kilroy was here" signs posted at Jessup...or better yet, "Kilroy is here."
