Readers Split Between Cordle and Cohen; Based on Averages of Nine Contestants, Cordle Wins with 42%, Cohen Gets 36.5% and Fox Gets 21%

Four of the nine contestants in CP's reader prediction placed Cohen as the winner, four put Cordle in first and one had Fox as the winner. The winning percentages for Cohen ranged from 34% to 45%. Of the four who placed Cordle in first, he was predicted to collect from 46% to 60%. One placed Fox as the winner with only 36% of the vote. Fox placed third six times, Cordle twice and Cohen placed last only once. The average vote of the nine percentages for the candidates were:

Cordle 42.0 (range of 29 to 60%)
Cohen 36.5 (range of 10-45%)
Fox 21.0 (range of 9 to 36%)

The nine predictors for today's election came from Ward 3, 5,6, 7 and 8 and included four Republicans, two Democrats, one Independent, one Green/Independent and one not declared. The winner will be announced with 24 hours and will receive a Ten Dollar Gift Certificate to Zu Coffee!!

This is not a scientific poll and should not be viewed as anything other than a small and non-random review of a highly stratified and self-selected sample of presumably likely voters.

Yes it is amazing what huge amounts of very large donations from very deep pockets outside the city can buy...but with what strings attached? And do I recall you sending in your predictions? No, but I'll bet you had access to all that very expensive polling data.

I have nothing of which to be ashamed, but does our Democratic party and leadership?
