An Unorthodox, Irreverent and Therefore Totally Appropriate Record of City Council

Although it might be referred to as Gonzo Journalism, Brian Gill's (Annapolis Politics) snarky coverage of City Council meetings are a welcome component of our local community journalism and last night was no exception. CP was unable to attend but Gill's analysis pretty much tells me what I needed to know--except two things--which newly elected aldermen were seated in the audience?  Did the mayor mention CP by name or was the term "blogger" sufficient for identification purposes? Paul:

2 of the Alderman-elect were present at City Council last evning; Kenny Kirby (D-6) and Mat Silverman (D-5).

In reference to CP, the Mayor did not mention it by name, just referenced the "hateful blogs" that Trudy McFall "supports".

I hope this is helpful and brings clarity.

I am glad to hear that Kirby and Silverman attended but not Pfeiffer. Well, I did read how the mayor referred to hateful blogs. In her unusual world view, "hate" is apparently anything that is counter to her opinions or inflated self-image.
