Annapolis Capital Punishment

THE HEAT IS ON....To borrow a term from Josh Cohen (but not to associate the two of course)--it is silly season for Moyer Inc. This is an excerpt from Boss Ellen's latest blog post, in which she also attacks mayoral candidate Trudy McFall which is completely inappropriate and outrageous. This is all part of the Weikel-Purcell-Moyer axis of evil. ELLEN--If you wish to endorse a candidate--go do it--clearly!!! And if you want to attack someone you appointed to a volunteer post--WHY DON'T YOU NOW START APOLOGIZING FOR ALL THE LAZY, INEPT INCOMPETENT PEOPLE YOU APPOINTED TO PAID JOBS THAT YOU CREATED FOR THEM AND MAKE US PAY FOR???? Of course--no candidate would want your endorsement--it would be the kiss of death...so instead what you do is try to throw your support to one and undermine others......THE NERVE OF YOU TO TRASH MCFALL AND SAY HOW WE ARE PAYING THE PRICE FOR HER MISMANAGEMENT????  (Another example of a Democrat attacking other Democrats....)

YOU ARE IN DENIAL.  YOU ARE DELUSIONAL.  YOU NEED PROFESSIONAL HELP--just don't stick us with the bill!!

Let's see.... where has this venomous blogger been in the last week or so? First of all Boss Ellen...
I've been all over town on foot, by bike and by car (but not by bus this week because you and your overpaid transportation director can't fix the air conditioners)
I've been  attending events for individual mayoral candidates
At least three public debates for all mayoral candidates (rode my bike to Maryland Hall for that event and then rode around downtown with a fellow Eastporter who also regales you with emails)
Drove to a mayoral event at West Annapolis Elementary and stayed late talking with citizens and candidates, Engaged in numerous phone calls with activists, elected officials and candidates
Rode my bike to the home of an aldermanic candidate and to the home of an alderman for conversations
Went to the grand re-opening of an expanded city business
Organized and met with a group of activists and a mayoral candidate as I do most every week at a local business
Met with the editor of the local newspaper, corresponded with the editors of other local publications,
Shopped at a farmers market
Visited an elected official recovering from surgery
Swam at our public pool--twice
Volunteered at a public school event to welcome back teachers
Walked around my neighborhood and talked with neighbors
Walked to the bank twice
Met with a local radio station......and then on Sunday....
I walked into downtown with my family and dog, strolled through the Market House, enjoyed the music at the outdoor festival, walked around City Dock and attended a party/fundraiser for a friend in a downtown restaurant because she has cancer, bought my son a slice of pizza at another downtown restaurant, and walked home...
TO TOP IT ALL OFF..I have spent a lot of my time and energy otherwise engaging citizens, writing about local issues, promoting and publicizing local events including the downtown events I attended Sunday.

SO DEAR ELLEN "O"  BOSS OF MOYER, INCORPORATED.....WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU WHINING ABOUT WHEN YOU COMPLAIN THAT... OH--ANOTHER THING I DID THIS WEEK ELLEN.... I WATCHED THE PIP AND ZASTROW MOVIE and I liked it very much....especially the parts about you.....

ACTUALLY ELLEN--IT IS YOU WHO SELDOM SHOWS HER FACE DOWNTOWN. WHETHER IT IS THE JULY FOURTH PARADE OR JUST ABOUT ANY OTHER PUBLIC EVENT RECENTLY...YOU ARE RARELY TO BE SEEN....but we can understand why....

ELLEN--You give me so much to write about. What will I ever do when you retire from office??? I guess it depends on who succeeds you....and no matter who it is, IT WON'T BE SOON ENOUGH, so keep it up for the next few months!!!
