Media Analyst Jim Snider at Sip N' Blog on "Can Local Journalism Survive the Internet Age?”

Jim Snider will join us at Sip N' Blog on December 10th when we will ask and attempt to answer “Can Local Journalism Survive the Internet Age?” I for one, certainly hope so!!!  Snider, of Severna Park, is the president of iSolon.org, and has covered media policy as a fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government’s Shorenstein Center on the Press, Politics and Public Policy; as a fellow and research director at the New America Foundation, a Washington, DC think tank; and as an American Political Science Association Congressional Fellow in Communications and Public Policy on the staff of two U.S. senators.   For one of his recent articles, see Automating Watchdog Reporting, published in Harvard’s Nieman Watchdog.  Learn more at Snider.
