CP used to receive daily anonymous hate mail through Blogger comments, all of which were traced to the same ISP address. When word got out that this was being investigated by law enforcement officials, they stopped. CP is used to getting a lot of crazy and anonymous comments, 99% of which get deleted immediately, but two came in today which seem to make it so patently obvious as to where they originated, or as to who originated them I should say. The both came in from that very same address. I publish them below for your reading, but I warn you, one of them is really unpleasant. I publish these here reluctantly, and there are compelling arguments not to publish them, but because of their possible relationship to other things going on--and other people who might be behind them, I felt it was appropriate:

In the above, we see the use of an African-sounding name, a tactic which has been frequently employed by the suspect who operates another blog. Yes, I have been called such names and worse before, and as readers know, I am an outspoken proponent of free speech and civil rights, but freedom of speech is freedom to say the truth and to express an opinion, but to express hate? There are restrictions and I have also been outspoken against hate speech and acts of hate--and will remain so. But in answer to the person's question, Yes I am an evil Jew--an evil American Jew and that's upper case Jew, thank you very much. Interesting. I've written the Justice Department about this kind of stuff. However, when you have a White Supremist like Frank Weathersbee who is protected by U. S. Attorney in Baltimore, Rod Rosenstein, I doubt much will happen.
I wrote the Justice Department about Rosenstein's involvement in getting Weathersbee re-elected. Weathersbee came close to losing the election because of the Noah Jamahl Jones and Leeander Blake cases. Both times Rosenstein stepped in to "put everything right" for Frank. I also questioned what Rosenstein was doing about the two Church burnings down her in South Anne Arundel. I also mentioned that local police had told me that Southern Anne Arundel County had one of the highest Klu Klux Klan activists in the country. The wrath of God came down on me directly after that. I often wonder if either Weathersbee or Rosenstein had followed up on anything, outside of silencing me, if James Von Brunn would have been stopped before his trip to DC.
When I first moved to Annapolis in 1986 I was going through Settlement. Jerry Feldman was my Attorney. While sitting in his office waiting the sellers attorney started referring to Jerry as Jew Boy. I got so uncomfortable I was about to say to hell with it, this place is crazy. I'd never met someone so openly and brazenly as bigoted as this guy. I still wonder why I didn't follow those inclinations. I've lived in Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Florida, and Alabama, and have never seen as much hatred, bigotry, and racism as I've seen in this area.
I would really like to see The Capital do a review of cases that pass through Weathersbee ‘s and Rosenstein's offices. What I've picked up in The Capital over the past six years is that minorities are singled out for prosecution and exorbitant sentences.
I know teenagers who have been pulled over with several grams of Cocaine, but the cases never saw the light of day because they attended either The Key School or Saint Mary's. My son attended The Key School for 11 years.
Any request needs to include police records including those that are expunged and/or sealed. Names are not needed, but I'm sure there will be an overwhelming trend that those who contribute vast resources and influence in Anne Arundel politics get red carpet treatment with their brushes with the law.
It would be interesting to see if those cases I know about even show up in The Capital's Police Beat for City and County police reports.
Racism, bigotry, and hatred is alive and well in Anne Arundel County. It is much more subtle than 40 years ago, buts it's there waiting to boil up.
