New Annapolis Bike Program Needs Your Vote “Revolution Kids” Fighting for Grant Funds

The Annapolis Police Department along with the Annapolis Recreation and Parks Department and the Annapolis Department of Transportation, announces a new youth bicycling initiative called Revolution Kids. To help fund this project, APD has the opportunity to win a $5,000 grant through the Brighter Planet Fund, but we need your vote!

So what does a win mean for Annapolis?

* New bicycle safety programs in Annapolis schools and in the community

* An opportunity for youth to learn bicycle repair, maintenance and skills while rehabbing rundown bikes.

* Greater awareness of how cars and bicycles can safely "share the road"

The time has come to elevate cycling and bike safety in Annapolis! Please go to

http://brighterplanet.com/project_fund_projectss and vote for Revolution Kids.

Also, please send this information on to anyone who would be willing to support this worthy and exciting program. The project that receives the most votes by December 15th wins the $5,000!
