CP Takes Second Place in Mobbies Awards: Thanks For Your Votes!!!

Thanks to all our terrific and loyal readers who voted CP the Second Most Outstanding Political Blog in Maryland in The Baltimore Sun's Mobbies Awards. The contest ran in early October and had 20 blogs nominated in that category, most of them based in Baltimore or focusing on statewide issues, which makes the second place finish of a small-town, locally-based blog all the more exciting. We would have loved to have been number one of course, but this is a terrific honor and a testament to the loyalty of our thousands of readers. Number one went to Tales of Two Cities based in Ellicott City and Columbia. Wait a minute. Ellicott City and Columbia? How can it have two residences? They should be disqualified for that and appoint me the winner...just kidding.....Third place finisher, Eye On Annapolis, should also be similarly recognized for its strong showing as it is of course, also an Annapolis-based blog. For details visit www.data.baltimoresun.com/mobbies/?vote_for=339#339 .
